Biography
Education and artistic career
Iulia Cosman holds a degree in Fine Arts and graduated from the Graphics Department of the Ion Andreescu University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca in 2006.
During her studies, she made her artistic debut in the 2005 group exhibition The Road Home, where she presented drawings and engravings.
In 2009, she began an intensive two-year distance-learning programme at the New York Institute of Photography, studying composition, light and shadow, which she later integrated into painting. She also exhibited photographs at Wedding at the Palace.
In 2019, Iulia completed The Art & Science of Drawing under Brent Eviston. In 2021, she enrolled at New Masters Academy, where she continues to study with internationally recognised artists. These courses contributed to the development of her oil-painting practice.
She currently works as a visual artist, focusing on oil painting.
